9-11 Memorial Wall, a Gift from Holland & Knight,
Honors Members of the New York City Fire Department
and Holland & Knight Partner Who Perished on
9-11-2001
 On
June 10, 2006 lawyers and staff from the national law firm
Holland & Knight joined former New York City Mayor Rudolph W. Giuliani,
U.S. Representative Jerrold Nadler and Fire Commissioner Nicholas Scoppetta,
in a ceremony unveiling an historic 9-11 Memorial Sculpture to the New York City
Fire Department. The Memorial, dedicated to the 343 members of the NYC Fire
Department as well as volunteer firefighter Glenn J. Winuk, a partner at Holland & Knight who died on that tragic
day, is located at FDNY Engine 10 Ladder 10, directly across from the World
Trade Center site.
This
special section of the Ten House website features over 130 photos of
the Memorial Wall, the Names inscribed across the Wall, and the
Dedication ceremony on June 10, 2006. The names on the Wall are
available on "the 343 Bravest" page.
The
websites of the donor, Holland & Knight, and the designer, Rambusch
Company, are listed on "the Partners" page and feature
addition information on the Memorial Wall.
