Photo Memoirs

Our Dedication

Remembering:
This album contains photos that were published in the Appleton (Wisconsin) Post Crescent on the one year anniversary of 9-11.  Ed Culhane, Post-Crescent staff writer, and Mike De Sisti, Post-Crescent photographer were guests of FDNY Ladder 10 at their temporary quarters at Engine 4, Ladder 15 a few block from the damaged Ten House.  These pictures are a powerful chronicle of life for Ladder 10 members from the time of the first attack on 9-11 through the first year.

Photo Memoirs:
This album features Ten House memoirs and mementoes - the door from Engine 10, the banner from Ladder 10, the flags that were flying over the Ten House and on Ladder 10 on September 11, 2001, and the Liberty Street sign recovered in the debris.  Several photos show the ruble and damage to and around the Ten House following the attacks of September 11, 2001.  Several photos show things as they were before 9-11.
Thanks to everyone that have provided photos from the past.  And thanks to PELCO for providing the photos of the Ladder 10 flag that is on display in PELCO's California Memorial Museum.

Our Dedication:
On November 19, 2005 friends, family, and members gathered to dedicate  the Ten House Bravest Memorial to the six lost brothers who gave the supreme sacrifice on September 11, 2001.  This album features photos of this dedication ceremony.

Several other photos are available in the Photo Albums section of the website.
